Lipstick Traces

Lipstick Traces is the story of a young Bohemian woman, Jade Morrison, who is in an existential crisis. Her boyfriend Arlo, fearing she is about to sell him out, tries, and fails, to trade her in a black-market drug dealer. The deal fails and sets into motion a series of twisted plot lines and backstories that run the gauntlet of Human emotions over the 12-episode series. Backs are stabbed, and alliances are made. Hearts are broken, and love is betrayed. Some lives are lost while others are saved. All why asking the question: Is revenge worth the price of redemption?

This theater is played out by an ensemble cast of classic character archetypes, The Lover, The Hero, The Magician, The Rebel, The Sage, The Jester... In all, ten classic character archetypes are represented in this story. In short, every member of the viewing audience will have a character they can relate to, which means every member of the viewing audience will have a character they can root for.

The pilot episode has appeared in 60 festivals, won its category in over 25, but even more impressive, it has a 50% festival acceptance rate.

Lipstick Traces is looking for distributors, sales, and financing to complete the remaining eight episodes.
